Sophie explores different forms of storytelling, from short tales to fiction, with a striking style blending humor, the supernatural, irony and poetry. This work as an author naturally complements her linguistic expertise in translation, bringing a keen eye for word choice and the quality of language across a range of registers.

Sophie also offers a literary writing service, creating bespoke stories: the client simply needs to suggest a theme or describe the effect they're hoping to achieve. For instance, you might give a loved one, partner, child or friend a short story or tale to express gratitude, share feelings, or help them through a difficult time. On request, two or three paragraphs are proposed so the client can decide whether the writing style suits them. This initial step is free of charge.
If the project moves forward, several formats are available: a digital file, simple spiral binding or professional binding, or an audio recording.
